RETAIL REPORT: Model FA Launches a Community Resource for Financial Advisors

Traders Magazine Online News, July 12, 2019

John D'Antona Jr.

Model FA, a community built by advisors, for advisors, announces the launch of its resource library and podcast. The Model FA community seeks to bring subject matter experts and advisors together to share best practices for branding, prospecting, selling, marketing, and practice management.

The role of financial advisors, and client expectations placed upon them, are changing rapidly. The Model FA community was inspired by the need for expert-provided, field-tested, up-to-the-moment practice management advice.

“When we launched our RIA in 2016, we made a commitment to continually experiment, evolve, and adopt best practices in marketing, selling, and practice management. However, tested advice was surprisingly hard to find,” said Patrick Brewer, CFA, CPA, Founder of SurePath Wealth and host of The Model FA podcast. “We built Model FA as a resource and a community that our profession desperately needs.”

Within the Model FA community, advisors will have access to resources such as:

  • The Model FA podcast - where Patrick Brewer interviews industry thought leaders to extract high-performing tactical advice that will empower advisors to supercharge their own practices.
  • The Model FA blog - with advice on launching, marketing, scaling, and transforming a financial service firm.
  • A Resource Library - with templates that will allow advisors to stop re-creating the wheel, get inspired, and build the firm of their dreams.

“We want advisors to have access to field-tested best practices and ideas that will pave the way for them to tap into their genius, supercharge their impact, and deliver functional financial advice to more people,” said Dominique Henderson, CFP®, Founder at DJH Capital Management and Head of Client Experience at Brewer Consulting.
