The start of Fall of 2014 meant the kids returned to school and some new faces started to appear on the trading floors around Wall Street and the US capital markets. In a sign that the economy may be picking up, there was a wave of new hires and promotions inside investment firms and exchanges in the U.S. capital markets.
We saw new faces and better job titles inside Deutsche Asset Management, Sanford Bernstein and the TMX Group, which operates the Toronto Stock Exchange. We also saw some rather important individuals stepping down from major firms.
