Roger Naylor joined UBS as the bank’s head of global equity derivatives. Until recently, Naylor held the same position at Deutsche Bank and was also global head of equity risk. At UBS, he replaces Jason Barron, who will become global head of financing services. Naylor will join the equities management committee and will report to Mike Stewart, head of global equities.

 


 

Karen Blando joined institutional broker BTIG as a managing director and relationship manager. An 18-year veteran, Blando comes from Macquarie Capital where she served in an institutional equity sales role and managed the U.S. distribution of the firm’s quantitative product. Prior to that, she was head of New York institutional sales at Bank of America. She reports to Rick Blank, head of global equities.

 


 

Mark Koczan joined Raymond James as a senior vice president and sales trader in its equity sales trading group. Koczan, a 20-year veteran, spent the last five years at Morgan Keegan. He started his career on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange with DLJ as a floor trader. He has done trading and sale stints at NatWest Markets, Dresdner Kleinwort and Advest. He reports to Paul Powers.

 


 

Elizabeth Tolomeo joined Academy Securities as managing director for Chicago sales and trading, establishing and managing the firm’s Chicago branch. The 20-year veteran of the industry previously spent more than three years at Melvin Securities. Prior to that, she worked at Atlanta Life Financial Group and Morgan Stanley Asset Management. She will report to Michael Naidrich, head of East Coast trading.

 


 

Brian Nigito joined proprietary trading firm Jane Street Capital. Nigito was previously with Getco, responsible for its options market-making platform. Nigito was an early employee at the Island ECN and later in charge of high-frequency trading at Citadel Investment Group.

 


 

Robert Manning joined Evercore Partners as a sales trader handling real estate investment trusts. Manning was previously a sales trader with Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. He joined Evercore with two other REIT specialists from Keefe Bruyette.
