ON THE MOVE: Dolfin Tabs Gray as Investment Head; Dash Grabs CS Alum Doherty

Dolfin, an independent wealth management platform, appointed Richard Gray as Head of Investment Management, a newly created role within the firm. In this new position, Gray will lead Dolfins investment team and further strengthen its asset management capabilities. He came from ACPI, where he was Co-Head of Institutional Wealth Management. Before ACPI, he was at Credit Suisse where he was the head of the Special Situations team and co-head of the Multi-Asset Group. Prior to that, Gray was an investment analyst at Credit Suisse and UBS. He managed the utilities research franchise at Credit Suisse and was co-head of UBSs top-ranked utilities equity research team. Previously, he was co-head of UBSs software & services equity research team.

Dash Financial Technologies snagged another capital markets veteran – James Doherty. Doherty as the firms new Managing Director, Head of Equity Product. He spent the last 20 years at Credit Suisse, where he co-founded the Advanced Execution Services (AES) electronic trading platform and managed the day-to-day product development of its algorithmic equities trading business. Prior to joining the AES group, he worked in the firms Equities Proprietary Trading, Fixed Income, and IT divisions. Most recently Doherty was Managing Partner of a machine learning-driven investment firm he co-founded.

Geospatial Insight, a provider of independent research, hired financial services industry and quant community veteran Steve Wilcockson. He will be responsible for client-facing activities for all Geospatial Insight Finance Sector products and will lead product management. Wilcockson was formerly Global Industry Manager for Financial Services at the engineering software company MathWorks, developers of MATLAB, where he worked for over 20 years among model builders and implementers including quants, quant developers, economists, actuaries, algo traders, portfolio managers and risk managers.

Morningstar, Inc. hired Mark Roomans as its new Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In this newly created role, Roomans, who served as Chief Executive Officer for Morningstar UK, will establish an executive team for EMEA to drive growth in the region. Roomans joined Morningstar in 2001, prior to which he was a quantitative analyst at JPMorgan Investment Management and Mercury Merrill Lynch Asset Management. He was previously Chief Operating Officer of Morningstar Europe and co-Chief Executive Officer of Morningstar Australia.

Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM) has onboarded Joseph Wong as a Senior Solutions Manager, based in San Francisco. In this role, Wong focuses on designing and implementing outcome-oriented investment portfolios as part of WFAMs Multi-Asset Solutions team, reporting to Jonathan Hobbs, head ofU.S. Portfolio Solutions. Wong came from Ameriprise Financial, where he served as a Director on the Asset Allocation team. Prior to that he led the investment consulting team covering the Private Wealth and Asset Manager channels within the Multi-Asset Portfolio and Investment Consulting at Blackrock. He also held senior roles at Deutsche Asset Management in Australia and New York.

Collibra added Jeffrey Burk as Senior Vice President, Engineering; Sebastien Giroux as Chief Financial Officer; and Fleur Sohtz as Chief Marketing Officer to its leadership team.

Burkwill lead the global engineering group at Collibra. Prior to Collibra, he was VP, Engineering & Operations for Dell Boomi, an independent business unit of Dell

Girouxwas named Chief Financial Officer. Prior, he was Chief Accounting Officer at Atlassian and held strategic financial management positions with RingCentral, IBM, BigFix, and Taleo Corporation.

Sohtzis charged with helping Collibra create and execute data-driven marketing strategies. Previously, she was Chief Marketing Officer at Cordium, a leading provider of GRC consulting and technology,. She held senior marketing roles at Chain, Markit, Thomson Reuters, and BT Radianz.

Global asset manager Russell Investments has hired Jennifer McPeek as Chief Financial Officer. McPeek brings significant industry experience to the investment solutions firm with more than 25 years of proven success within corporate finance, strategic planning, risk management, and global operations. McPeeks career features key roles at Janus Henderson, ING, McKinsey & Company and Goldman Sachs.

Cobalt, the foreign exchange (FX) post-trade processing network, has named FX specialist Anoushka Rayner (formerly Hampton) as global head of sales and business development. Rayner, a pro with over over 20 years of experience, was recently as business manager and global FX sales specialist at Traiana.

CloudMargin, has hired Daniel Schwartz, a 20-year veteran of financial products, markets and technology leadership, as the firms new Chief Information Officer (CIO). For the past seven years, Schwartz was a Managing Director at NatWest Markets, formerly known as the capital markets division of Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).Schwartz founded FST Consulting, Inc. in New York, which provided strategic financial services and technology consulting to a wide range of firms. Based in the New York office of the London-based company, Schwartz reports to CEO Steve Husk.

Saxo Bank has made changes to its Board of Management in order to further strengthen client focus, corporate governance and strategy execution. The firm promoted Sren Kyhl to Deputy CEO while he continues in his role as COO. Also,, Damian Bunce has been appointed member of the Board of Management with the new title of Chief Commercial Officer.

Stefan Rolf has been appointed as INGs Global Head of Securitization for Wholesale Banking Lending. Based in Frankfurt, he will be part of the lending management team and focus on strengthening INGs Securitisation franchise. Rolf brings 13 years of global securitization experience to this newly-created position. He is currently head of asset-backed Securitization at Volkswagen Bank Treasury. He will join ING on 1 January 2019.
