Digital asset trading venue Crossover Markets has appointed Jay Patel as Global Head of Markets, based in New York, the firm said in an email to Traders Magazine.
Patel will oversee liquidity analytics and client experience across CROSSx, the firm’s execution-only digital asset ECN.
He joins from Euronext FX, where he spent nearly 14 years, most recently as Head of Product and a member of the management board.
During his tenure, he held roles across technology, sales and liquidity management, including Vice President and Director of Sales for the Americas and Head of Liquidity Management, Americas.
The appointment follows a milestone period for Crossover, which recently raised $31 million in a Series B round at a $200 million valuation led by Tradeweb Markets, with participation from DRW Venture Capital, Illuminate Financial, Ripple, Virtu Financial, Wintermute and XTX Markets.
“As institutional participation in digital assets continues to scale, Jay’s expertise in liquidity management and FX market structure will be instrumental in further reinforcing our position as the institution-only venue built for performance, transparency, and execution quality,” the firm told Traders Magazine.
