Although being a woman on Wall Street is not as unique as it once was it is still noteworthy in a male-dominated industry.

Finalists from the fifth annual Traders Wall Street Women: a Celebration of Excellenceawards hail from a wide range of powerful investment and financial services firm. Winners represent such firms as Janney Montgomery Scott, DTCC, RBC Capital Markets, Loop Capital and others. Job titles range from head of fixed income trading to head trader to founding partner. Even though men far outnumber women on the trading floor, women have broken through the glass ceiling inside many investment firms.
For the fifth annual Wall Street Women Awards, Traders recovered more than 100 nominations from Wall Street and U.S. capital markets firms, regulatory bodies and IT vendor establishments. The 19 finalists were chosen by Traders anonymous WSW judging panel and the profiles of winners will appear in the December 2015 edition of Traders. Individual profiles of the winners will appear throughout the month of December as well.
Traders also presents a slideshow of the winners of the fifth annual Wall Street Women: A Celebration of Excellence awards.
