Olympian Group Names Scott Fullman Senior Managing Director and Chief Strategist

The Ft. Lauderdale hedge fund with newly opened offices in New York City has hired away the 35-year veteran from Oppenheimer & Co. where he served as Executive Director.

Scott Fullman will oversee the launch of the forthcoming Increasing Alpha, a research program and guide for investment professionals that examines technical and sentiment analysis. Each week, Fullman and his new team will review more than 3,000 individual charts and pages of reports that indicate supply and demand for securities, industry groups, sectors, and the benchmarks.

Fullman is an Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall University where he teaches derivatives strategies in their graduate program. He has worked with many financial groups such as WJB Capital Group, Hapoalim Securities USA, Swiss American Securities Inc., Cowen & Co. and Shearson.

He is the author of several articles and books, and he has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Reuters News, CNBC Television, Bloomberg, Business Week, Associated Press, USA Today and Institutional Investor.
