OTAS Technologies hired former equity sales trader Jennifer Martyn for its U.S. sales team. Martyn, a pro with 6 years experience, comes from Thomson Reuters where she worked in the Pan European Equity research division. Prior to that, she spent over five years at StarMine building up the company’s European sales office. She began her career as an equity sales trader based in Miami, London and the Czech Republic. She reports to Nick Lieder, head of U.S. Sales.

Dallas, Texas-based Esposito Securities hired Michael Crawford in its sales group. Crawford, an 11 year veteran, will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s sales team and expanding the firm’s clients. Prior to Esposito, he spent the last 4 years at Axiom Capital Management as vice president of global equity sales. He reports to Mark Esposito, president and founder.

John Mangano joined Aite Group as an analyst in the firm’s Institutional Securities & Investments team. Mangano, a pro with over 20 years experience, will focus on fixed income trading and analytics. He spent 15 years with Fidelity Capital Markets, a division of Fidelity Investments, where he held roles in fixed income sales and fixed income trading across multiple markets, including U.S. corporate debt, U.S. Treasury debt, repo and money markets, and structured debt. Most recently, John was a managing partner at hedge fund Nantucket Absolute Capital, where he was responsible for cash portfolio management, operations, and compliance. He reports to Gerald Clemente, co-founder and director of sales.
Abel/Noser, a provider of trade cost analysis, hired Chris Heckman as a senior advisor. Heckman,a pro with 23 years experience, will advise Abel/Noser clients on how to utilize the firm’s historical trade measurement and liquidity data to produce customized algorithms and other execution solutions. Prior to Abel/Noser, he spent 20 years at agency broker ITG, where he helped the firm overhaul its electronic trading platform. Heckman was head of ITG’s U.S. sales and trading group for 14 years and a member of the firm’s executive committee. Prior to ITG, he worked in the program trading area at Salomon Brothers. He reports to chief executive, Bill Conlin.
