BGC Partners Charity Day 2014 Gallery

Local celebrities, athletes and models joined the brokers at BGC Partners for a good cause: raising millions for global charities.

Earlier this month, the trading floor atBGC Partners got a whole lot better looking when celebrities and atheletes joined thebrokerage to help raise an estimated $12 million for the BGC Partners and Cantor Fitzgerald & Co annual Charity Dayon Thursday, September 11, 2014.

Earlier this month, Traders shared pictures from the Cantor offices. Today, it’s our pleasure to share a gallery of images from the BGC Partners trading floor at their1 Seaport Plaza / 199 Water Street offices.

The brokers of BGC Partners were joined by a host of celebrities that included Nick Jonas, Edie Falco, Kevin Kline, among others. Leading athletes who joined BGC included NY Knicks Carmelo Anthony, Iman Shumpert, and Tim Hardaway Jr., Deron Williams from the Brooklyn Nets, NY Yankees Mark Teixeira, CC Sabathia and Dellin Betances, and NY Mets Matt Harvey. If that were not enough, models Bridget Moynahan, Linda Evangelista, Jennifer Ohlsson, Coco Rocha and others joined in to raise money for global charities.

Founded to commemorate the 658 Cantor and 61 Eurobroker employees lost in the 9/11 World Trade Canter attacks, Charity Day, in conjunction with theCantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund, has raised an estimated $113 million globally to provide aid to victims of terrorism, natural disaster and emergencies.
