Laste week, luminaries from trading and brokerage firms gathered along with exchange and trading venue members and fintech reps to discuss the state of trading in New York. The topics of the STANY sessions ranged from dark pools, liquidity in the bond market, forthcoming regulations and a certain book about HFT. Afterwards, STANY paid tribute to US veterans, the president of STA Jim Toes and honored the memory of the late Traders publisher Ken Heath.
