Our 2020 Market Structure Conferenceis Going Virtual!
Given the effects of COVID-19, the STA 2020 Market Structure Conference will be presented 100% virtually this year.
When we announced the 2020 Conference last month, we were optimistic about hosting this annual event in Washington DC. Since then, several factors began to negatively influence the likelihood of coming together in person, the most significant of which were local restrictions on large gatherings.
Learning how to adapt within such a challenging environment has presented some positive opportunities. While losing the networking aspect of our flagship event is not ideal, going virtual broadens our reach across North America and the UK, and increases our ability to obtain senior level speakers who are normally constrained by travel conflicts.
So mark your calendars for October 7-8, two full days of engaging content, delivered via one-on-one interviews, two-person fireside chats and three-person panel discussions. Content will be recorded and made available to all registrants. Topics will be announced in early August.
Even during these unusual times, STA is committed to upholding our mission of educating and informing our members, and all market participants, on industry trends and related market structure issues.
We also thank the JW Marriott Washington DC for continuing to be a good partner to STA and we look forward to gathering together there for our 2021 Market Structure Conference next October.
