ON THE MOVE: Nasdaq Hires Jillian DelSignore; Citi Names Sam Hewson

Jillian DelSignore

Jillian DelSignore has joined Nasdaq as Global Head of Investor Distribution Strategy for Nasdaq’s Index Business. As part of her role, she will work on an omnichannel distribution strategy in support of investment products tracking Nasdaq indexes and powered by Nasdaq Dorsey Wright reaching the full spectrum of investors while also staying abreast of advisor and retail investing trends to ensure timely content production for target markets, and more. She will be working closely with the Index team to continue serving our clients and the investment community to collaborate on rules-based, innovative Indexes driven by market demand. She joins from FLX Networks, where she was Head of strategic growth and solutions.

Sam Hewson

Sam Hewson has been appointed Global Head of FX Sales at Citi. This newly created role brings together FX Corporate and Financial Institutions Sales, for which he will also have a reporting line into Conor Davis, Global Head of Financial Institutions Sales & Solutions (FISS). Previously, Hewson served as Global Head of Digital FX Solutions and EMEA Head of Corporate Sales & Solutions (CSS) in Markets. He joined Citi in 2003 on the Markets graduate program.

Steve Bisgay

Clear Street has hired Steve Bisgay as Chief Financial Officer. He succeeds Jacob Asbury, who will help with the transition and remain with the company in a consulting capacity. Bisgay brings more than three decades of financial experience, including most recently as Executive Managing Director, CFO, at Cantor Fitzgerald. He previously held senior finance leadership roles at BGC Partners, KCG Holdings, Knight Capital Group, and PwC. In addition, Clear Street has further expanded its senior leadership team with the addition of the following industry experts: Ursula Clay – Chief Compliance Officer, Managing Director, Clear Street Derivatives; Clay brings more than 30 years of experience, most recently as Managing Director, CCO at Nearwater Capital; Brent Posner – Chief Operating Officer, Clear Street Futures; he is a seasoned COO with over 20 years of experience in senior executive management positions at multi-asset class global financial services companies. Before joining Clear Street, he was Senior Vice President and COO, ED&F Man Capital Markets. Posner reports to Chris Smith, CEO, Clear Street Futures;

Chicago-based R.J. O’Brien & Associates (RJO) has promoted Matt Heidkamp to Executive Director, Chief Operating Officer (COO), U.S. for RJO and Gemma Lloyd to Chief Operating Officer, EMEA for the firm’s UK-based affiliate R.J. O’Brien Limited. Both executives bring decades of relevant experience to the roles – with Heidkamp spending nearly his entire 29-year career at RJO in trading and operations and Lloyd joining earlier this year with more than 25 years of experience in client service and sales management roles in the listed derivatives space with brokerage firms, investment banks and asset managers.

Hazeltree has appointed industry veteran Stephanie D. Miller as the company’s president, chief executive officer, and board director. Miller joins Hazeltree with more than 25 years of financial services industry experience and an extensive background leading successful organizations across asset management and fintech segments. She previously led Intertrust Group, a public Dutch Euronext company, as Chief Executive Officer. She also held executive roles at SS&C Technologies, JP Morgan, and Citco Fund Services. Stephanie was most recently the Chief Administrative Officer at Gilded, a Miami-based gold trading fintech.
