ON THE MOVE: Enfusion Adds Finzi; Broadridge Taps Mayadas

Enfusion, a provider of cloud-based investment management software, appointed Michel Finzi as Senior Managing Director of Product Management. With more than 30 years of experience in product development and management, Finzi will join Enfusion’s Executive Committee and oversee its global Investment Engine software products including the Portfolio Management System (PMS), Order and Execution Management System (OEMS), and Visual Analytics. Based in New York City, he will also lead the strategic development roadmap as Enfusion expands globally. Finzi joins Enfusion with extensive OEMS and fintech experience, having previously held executive roles at Instinet, Lehman Brothers and Barclays (both RealTick), Nasdaq OMX, Chaikin Analytics, and Tassat Group. 

Broadridge Financial Solutions appointed Vijay Mayadas as President of Capital Markets. In this newly created position, he will lead Broadridge’s trading and post-trade capital markets SaaS solutions as part of the Global Technology and Operations (GTO) business. Mayadas joined Broadridge in 2013 as Head of Strategy and M&A. In 2016, he joined Broadridge’s GTO business to lead the Fixed Income and Analytics business unit. Prior to joining Broadridge, Mayadas held a variety of roles in strategy consulting (including six years at The Boston Consulting Group), private equity and fixed income trading software development.

The International Stock Exchange (TISE) appointed Cees Vermaas as parent company CEO. Vermaas joins as CEO of The International Stock Exchange Group Limited (TISEG) having previously held executive positions at several international exchanges, including CEO of CME Europe Ltd, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam and Head of European Cash Markets for NYSE Euronext. Vermaas has over 20 years’ experience working within international financial market infrastructure and, prior to that, spent a decade working in IT and program management roles within leading Netherlands based companies Philips and Delta Lloyd Group.

Equiti Capital appointed Stephane Treny to the company’s agency FX Desk as a Senior FX Sales Trader to focus on increasing Equiti’s coverage of buy side players in Europe. Treny started his career as a spot and options trader before moving into sales roles in the FX industry. He has over 30 years in senior sales roles at Deutsche Bank, UBS, Credit-Suisse, and lastly Unicredit as Head of FX Sales for France, Switzerland and Benelux.

Simon Dove, Head of Liquidity and Managing Director at proprietary trading firm Tower Research Capital Europe will leave after four years for a new role at agency broker Instinet, The TRADE reported, citing sources familiar with the matter. Dove has been appointed head of liquidity strategy for EMEA at Instinet and will join Instinet early next year, reporting directly to CEO of Instinet Europe Richard Parsons. Dove joined Tower Research in January 2017 as head of liquidity management before he was appointed head of liquidity and managing director in March 2019.

BNP Paribas Asset Management appointed Zhikai Chen Head of Asian Equities, effective 8 October. He will replace Arthur Kwong who will leave the firm to pursue other opportunities, and will report to Guy Davies, Global CIO for Fundamental Active Equities. Jinwen Ouyang and Roxy Wong, two portfolio managers with whom Mr Chen built a proven track-record in managing Asia ex-Japan Equities at Lombard Odier, have also been hired. They will join BNP Paribas Asset Management’s  existing team across Hong Kong and Malaysia, to help strengthen the Asian Equities strategies, and complement the  highly-regarded China and Global Emerging Equities teams.
