ON THE MOVE: IHS Market Hires Zion Hilelly; Enfusion Adds Lorelei Skillman

IHS Markit, a data and analytics concern, recruited Zion Hilelly as Managing Director, Head of Operations, Client Support and Service & Transformation for a newly created role in its Financial Services Solutions business. Hilelly is based in New York and reports to Andrew Eisen, SVP and Head of Financial Services Solutions. Hilelly will be responsible for leading global operations and the strategic transformation of the Financial Services Solutions business. Hilelly joins IHS Markit after more than 20 years at BlackRock, where as a Managing Director he was responsible for developing and leading multiple post-trade businesses and capabilities of the firm’s flagship Aladdin platform, used globally by BlackRock and Aladdin clients.

Enfusion, a provider of cloud-based investment management software, appointed Lorelei Skillman as Chief Marketing Officer. With over 20 years of transformative marketing experience in financial services, Skillman will lead Enfusion’s global marketing and communications initiatives, working alongside the organization’s executive leadership team to expand and evolve its brand, footprint, and bottom-line impact. Skillman comes to Enfusion with over 20 years’ experience, most recently, serving as the Global Head of Brand, Marketing & Communications for Financial Services at EY. Previously, Skillman was Global Head of Marketing & Communications for Asset Servicing at BNY Mellon and Head of Marketing and Brand for NYSE.

Euronext named Aurélie Cohen Chief Communications and Investor Relations Officer at Euronext. Cohen will lead all internal, external and financial communications for the Group. She will continue to report to Giorgio Modica, Group CFO. Cohen joined Euronext three years ago as Head of Investor Relations, managing financial communications and key announcements for the Group. Previously, Aurélie was Head of Investor Relations at Groupe ADP, having started her career as a senior consultant in audit and finance at EY. 

Citi CEO Michael Corbat announced that, after 37 years at Citi, including the last eight years as CEO, he plans to retire from Citi and step down from its Board of Directors in February of 2021. The Board of Directors selected Jane Fraser, currently Citi’s President and CEO of Global Consumer Banking, to succeed him as CEO in February, and she has been elected to the Board of Directors, with service beginning immediately. Jane Fraser has been at Citi for 16 years and has been in her current roles since 2019.

Google Cloud hired Derek White, a Barclays, BBVA and US Bank veteran, as vice president of global financial services. White will be responsible for setting the strategy for Google’s financial services cloud efforts. A 20-year financial services technology veteran, White joins from US Bank, where he was chief digital officer. Before that he held similar senior digital roles at BBVA and Barclays.

Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, UAE’s biggest sovereign wealth fund, appointed Cornell University Professor Marcos Lopez de Prado, as global head of quantitative research & development. Prado will join a newly created investment group within ADIA’s strategy and planning department, to apply a systematic, science-based approach to developing and implementing investment strategies. For the past 21 years, Prado has held positions in the academic, investment management and scientific research fields.
