Stellar Trading Systems to Connect to Nasdaq Futures

Nasdaq energy futures trading is getting a technology boost.

Stellar Trading Systems will introduce connectivity to Nasdaq Futures, Inc. (NFX), following the official launch of the NFX platform in mid-2015. NFX is the exchange group’s U.S.-based designated contract market (DCM), offering futures and options on key energy benchmarks, which includes oil, natural gas and U.S. power.

Stellar Trading Systems provides futures, options, equities and treasuries capabilities to professional traders, providing connectivity to the world’s major exchanges. The addition of NFX further enhances Stellar’s global offering, integrating with their full range of products, including Stellar spreadMachine, Quantum Server, Market Maker and Aggregator.

“The addition of Stellar Trading Systems to our platform allows us to further expand our footprint and ensure that the widest range of market participants have convenient access to our new suite of energy products,” said Nasdaq’s Magnus Haglind. “Our goal is to provide popular energy contracts at a greater value to our customers and we are certain that Stellar will provide NFX clients with high performance access to these innovative markets.”

Stellar Trading Systems specializes in producing trading systems for the high frequency, high volume trader.
