ON THE MOVE: Pirium Hires Mark Jennis; Ryan Mitchell to Global Liquidity Partners

Mark Jennis

Mark Jennis has joined Pirum’s US team to lead Business Development for CollateralConnect in North America. Jennis brings over three decades of experience in core aspects of collateral management, including strategy, business and product development and execution; margin, settlement and custody operations; collateral and cash optimization; and regulatory and risk management. His previous roles include leading Strategy and Strategic Partnerships at Transcend, developing blockchain use cases and solutions for PeerNova, Executive Chairman at DTCC-Euroclear GlobalCollateral, spearheading the Margin Transit Unit, as well as global roles at Morgan Stanley and Banker Trust, supporting the various collateral businesses, including Prime Brokerage, Derivatives, Commodities, FX, Repo, and Wealth Management.

Ryan Mitchell has joined Global Liquidity Partners (GLP) as Senior Business Development Executive. Prior to GLP, he was Chief Operating Officer at SpeedRoute where he spent nine years in various roles across business, operations, and client services. Mitchell brings expertise in US equity market structure, smart order routing, direct market access, algorithmic trading, liquidity network design, and trading technology. He will drive business development efforts across GLP’s portfolio of broker dealers including Comhar Capital Markets, ACS Execution Services, and, pending regulatory approval, CODA Markets.

Marc Flamini

FundStudio, a provider of Portfolio and Order Management Systems for alternative investment managers and administrators, has appointed Marc Flamini as Chief Revenue Officer. In his new role, Flamini will lead FundStudio’s market expansion and revenue growth, reporting to the CEO, Costas Kellas. Flamini joins FundStudio after an impressive 23-year career in sales at SS&C Advent, where he started in a sales role, progressing to a managerial position as the head of the Alternative Sales team. From there, he was promoted to Global Head of Sales for all Advent products.

Silver Creek Capital Management has hired Nathan Kelso as Chief Technology Officer. Kelso has nearly 30 years of experience serving in information technology roles in the investment management sector. For more than a decade, Kelso was Chief Information Security Officer of Research Affiliates, a global leader in smart beta and asset allocation, and earlier served in a senior information technology role at BlackRock.

Hazeltree, a provider of active treasury and intelligent operations technology for the alternative asset industry, has appointed Paul Gallant as its Chief Product Officer (CPO). As CPO, he will oversee Hazeltree’s solutions for hedge funds, private markets, data insights, the liquidity platform, and cash and payments. Gallant joins Hazeltree from BlackRock, where he was head of post-trade product management. His earlier experience includes senior leadership positions in product and operational roles at both asset servicers and fintech providers, including JPMorgan, SS&C Technologies and Citco Fund Services.

The International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) has announced that four directors have joined its Board: Erik Tim Mueller, Chief Executive Officer, Eurex Clearing AG; Jared Noering, Managing Director, Head of Fixed Income Trading, NatWestMarkets; Brad Tully, Managing Director and Global Head of Corporate Derivatives and Private Side Sales for J.P. Morgan; Jan Mark van Mill, Managing Director of Multi Asset, APG Asset Management.

Tifin has appointed Rob Pettman as its Chief Revenue Officer and President. In his new role, Pettman will report directly to TIFIN’s Founder and CEO, Dr. Vinay Nair. Pettman brings a wealth of experience and expertise to TIFIN. He joins the company from LPL Financial, where he was Executive Vice President of Wealth Management Solutions. In this role, he was responsible for managing LPL’s wealth management platform, including overseeing investment product distribution, advisory platforms, research, retirement plan business, and relationships with product and technology companies. Throughout his 19 years at LPL, Pettman worked in various roles across product management and wealth management strategy.
