Irish Billionaire Denis OBriens Digicel Plans IPO in New York

So, NYSE or Nasdaq?

(Bloomberg) — Irish billionaire Denis OBriens Digicel Group Ltd., the mobile-services company operating in the Caribbean and South Pacific regions, plans to sell shares in an initial public offering and list on the New York Stock Exchange.

Digicel, incorporated in Bermuda, plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including capital spending, acquisitions and repaying existing debt, it said in a statement Friday.

It has not yet decided how many shares will be sold or the price.
