Drexel Hamilton Set to Raise Money for Veterans Day

Boo yah.

In a salute to U.S. veterans this upcoming November 11, Veterans Day, Drexel Hamilton, a Service Disabled Veteran owned broker dealer, will donate a portion of its equity commissions to support The Headstrong Project, the Army Ranger Lead the Way Fund and Gary Sinise Foundations R.I.S.E Program.

While we can never do enough to show gratitude to our nation’s defenders, we can always do a little more, said actor and foundation creator Gary Sinise.

In the U.S., for every soldier lost in combat, 25-30 take their own lives. According to the Department of Labor, unemployment for veterans returning from combat runs three to four times the national average unemployment rate.

These programss all look to change thse sobering stats. The Headstrong Project looks to change that. The charity provides care and resources via the Weill Cornell Medical College, one of the nations leading mental health care centers, to help veterans in need who suffer from:

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

Anxiety and Depression

Anger Management

Trauma, Grief, and Loss

Addiction Treatment
