On Wednesday, November 15, 2023, Tuesday’s Children, the national nonprofit that serves families and community members impacted by terrorism, military conflict, and mass violence, will host their 22nd annual fundraiser, honoring Richard Repetto.

During this year’s annual fundraiser, Tuesday’s Children will honor Richard Repetto, CFA, a West Point graduate who served five years as a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army, followed by a 25-year career on Wall Street focusing on research of electronic trading and financial technology companies.

Most recently, he was a Managing Director at Piper Sandler and principal at Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P., receiving numerous awards for his equity research including “Global Analyst of the Year” in 2012 by the Financial Times.

Repetto received his MBA in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

“As a West Point graduate and working in New York finance during the time of the 9/11 attacks, I could not be more supportive of Tuesday’s Children’s resilience-building programs and their efforts to leave no child or family behind,” said Repetto.

Repetto is a longtime finance executive and has worked with Tuesday’s Children’s Board Member Silvia Davi through the years during her time at Nasdaq and more recently with her work with various fintech organizations.

Repetto is a retired electronic trading and financial technology professional who was most recently managing director at Piper Sandler.

“We decided to honor Rich for serving our country and also to honor his illustrious finance career as he recently retired from Piper Sandler where he served as a respected financial analyst,” commented Silvia Davi, Tuesday’s Children Board Member.

Davi added this year Tuesday’s Children decided to do their annual fundraiser during the giving season in November versus September.

“We also have a Casino theme format which is expected to be more interactive,” she said.

All the evening’s proceeds will benefit family and community members forever changed by terrorism, military conflict, and mass violence.

“We’re looking forward to hosting a festive Casino Night this year, offering our guests an opportunity to enjoy a cocktail-style event, participate in various games including blackjack, craps, and roulette, and bid on various raffle items with all proceeds benefitting family members who have been part of the Tuesday’s Children community for two or 22 years,” added John Cahalane, Chairman of the Board of Tuesday’s Children.

Tuesday’s Children’s Casino Night will be sponsored by Jim & Marilyn Simons, NFL, Aon, New York Jets, New York Giants, the MLB, Goldman Sachs, Daiwa, Fred Strobel & Aimee Foxx, Bill O’Reilly, Tradeweb, Barasch & McGarry, Paster Family Foundation, Crowe, Wilpons, Roger Coleman of Coleman Group Partners, CME Group, Sidley Austin LLP, and Justin and Michelle Hughes Foundation.
