
TD Securities has appointed Yi Chi Lin as Director, US Head of Fixed Income/FICC Trade Surveillance, according to a LinkedIn post. Lin is an experienced FX Trader & FICC Compliance Trade Surveillance Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services and compliance industry. He joins TD Securities from BNP Paribas, where he worked for over seven years, mostly recently as AMER Head of Quality Assurance – Trade/E-communication/Voice Surveillance. Earlier in his career, he worked nearly eight years at Jefferies as a Senior FX trader.
Chris Tufano has joined Clear Street as Head of Clearing, according to a press release. Tufano joins following Clear Street’s 2024 launch of professional clearing services for registered market markers in listed U.S. equities, which was the first successful entry into the professional clearing market in close to a decade. Tufano brings more than two decades of industry experience and joins Clear Street from Bank of America, where he served as a Managing Director, a member of the Board of Directors, and the Global Head of Clearing and Prime Brokerage Platform Transformation.

Equinix veteran Arquelle Shaw has been appointed as President of Equinix Americas, following an “incredible six years” as SVP of Americas Sales, according to her post on LinkedIn. Shaw brings more than two decades of experience in enterprise technology, sales and business transformation to her role as President, Americas. Having most recently served as SVP, Sales, Americas, she will continue in this capacity through the end of Q3 to ensure a smooth transition while ramping up in her new position. In addition, Equinix has announced the appointment of Shane Paladin as Executive Vice President and Chief Customer and Revenue Officer (CCRO). With more than 20 years of global experience in go-to-market motions and partnering with product organizations, he served for more than 11 years on two tours at SAP in a variety of customer-focused, services and international roles, including: President, Services; EVP Sales, Services; COO Greater China; and Managing Director, Hong Kong and Macau.
Franklin Templeton has announced that Rich Nuzum has joined Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions (FTIS) as Head of OCIO, according to press release. Nuzum will be based in New York and report directly to Adam Petryk, Head of Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions. Nuzum joins Franklin Templeton from Mercer where he spent more than three decades providing investment consulting advice to institutional investors.
SC Ventures by Standard Chartered has appointed Lisa Pollina as Vice Chairman, Americas, according to a press release. Previously, she served as Vice Chairman for RBC Capital Markets and was the Global FIG Financial Institutions Executive at Bank of America Securities.
Oliver Deutschmann has joined Liquidnet as Head of Equity Derivatives, EMEA, according to company announcement. Deutschmann brings over 15 years of experience, most recently serving as Head of Equity Derivatives for Credit Suisse, where he led the redevelopment of the equities flow derivatives business in Germany and Austria. Juan Ferrer Pons has also been appointed as Listed Derivatives Sales Trader, based in Madrid. Ferrer Pons spent the majority of his career at BBVA, where he held various trading roles across Funds of Hedge Funds (FoHF) and Equity Derivatives. Most recently, he served as Equity Derivatives Broker at TP ICAP, Liquidnet’s parent company.
Arteria AI has hired Daniel Duffy to lead its sales team, according to a press release. Duffy joins Arteria with over 35 years’ experience working at the intersection of technology and financial services, including most recently at State Street Global Markets where he was Head of Portfolio Solutions Sales for the Americas.
Broadridge Financial Solutions has appointed Lucas Swertloff as Global Head of Custom Policy, the company said in a statement. With more than a decade of experience in institutional voting, policy design and client services, Swertloff has a proven track record of building scalable, investor-focused solutions. Swertloff joins Broadridge from Glass Lewis & Co., where he held a range of leadership roles over 12 years, most recently serving as Director of Client Policy.
