      ON THE MOVE: State Street Adds Jack Kelly; Beeston and Carnell Join Marex

      Jack Kelly has joined State Street Investment Management as AVP, Fixed Income Trader, based in Boston, he shared on LinkedIn. Kelly joins the firm after almost four years at investment manager Victory Capital, where he worked as a multi-asset trader. Earlier in his career, he held a range of trading and analyst roles, including at Amundi US, where he spent over a year, starting on the trading desk before moving into a performance analyst position.

      Brett Redfearn, former Director of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Trading and Markets, has been appointed President of Securitize. He will also join the company’s Board of Directors. According to a press release, Redfearn is the Founder of Panorama Financial Markets Advisory, advising exchanges, broker-dealers, asset managers, fintechs, and private equity firms. Previously, he served as Director of the SEC’s Division of Trading and Markets from 2017 through 2020, overseeing numerous groundbreaking rulemakings and policies that touched a broad cross-section of U.S. securities markets.

      Marex has launched a Private Markets Desk focused on providing FX and interest rate coverage to private capital managers, according to a LinkedIn post. The desk will be led by Lloyd Beeston, who joins as head of dealing, alongside Jack Carnell, head of portfolio solutions. Beeston joins from Argentex Group, where he spent nine years in a range of roles, most recently as a senior institutional trader. He previously worked as an FX dealer and in FX sales at the firm, and earlier in his career held a digital marketing role at American Express. Carnell also joins from Argentex Group, where he spent nearly eight years, most recently as a senior vice president covering private markets clients.

      The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has announced that David Wodcock has been appointed Director of the Division of Enforcement, effective May 4, 2026. Woodcock is currently a partner in the Dallas and Washington, D.C. offices of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where he serves as chair of the firm’s Securities Enforcement Practice Group. Sam Waldon will continue to serve as Acting Director of the Enforcement Division until May 4.

      Miami International Holdings, Inc has announced the passing of Murray Stahl, a member of its Board of Directors. Stahl served as a director of MIAX since July 2025 and was also a director of MIAX Futures since 2013 and a member of the Bermuda Stock Exchange Council since 2014. He was the Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Board and co-founder of Horizon Kinetics Holding Corporation, as well as the Chief Executive Officer of FRMO Corp.
