ON THE MOVE: Score Priority Names New CEO; Grayscale Investments Hires David LaValle

Lugene Forte

Score Priority Corporation has promoted Lugene Forte to CEO, effective immediately. Forte has spent the last two years as Chief Operating Officer at the company, where she has been a key member of the firm’s executive and risk committees that support the firm’s retail and institutional business lines. Forte succeeds Tony Huck, who has served as CEO since January 2020. Forte brings vast experience to the executive team, including over two decades in financial services.

David LaValle

Grayscale Investments has appointed David LaValle as Senior Managing Director, Global Head of ETFs, reporting directly to Michael Sonnenshein, CEO of Grayscale. Prior to joining Grayscale, LaValle served as Chief Executive Officer of Alerian and S-Network Global Indexes.

Nora Richardson

Nora Richardson has joined Managed Funds Association (MFA), the trade association for the hedge fund and global alternative investment industry, as Director, Membership Development. Richardson comes to MFA from Bank of America Securities, where she served as a Director in the Prime Brokerage Business Consulting team.

Coutts has appointed Paul Bagatelas as its new Head of International. Bagatelas joins Coutts from his most recent role at Aviatrans, where he was responsible for managing and advising on investments for a private family office, as well as structuring and negotiating the group’s potential partnerships.

Saltus Asset Management has appointed Andrew Fleming as Chairman. The appointment will see Fleming take on the newly created role to lead Saltus’ investment arm. Fleming was previously CEO of Waverton Investment Management. 

West Realm Shire Services has hired Ryne Miller as its General Counsel. This hire is another development by the Company to grow its presence in the US and expand on its mission in delivering trust, transparency and credibility to the industry. Miller joins FTX.US from Sullivan & Cromwell where he was a Partner and Co-Head of its Commodities, Futures & Derivatives practice. 

KBI Global Investors has appointed Trevor Harlow as Senior Vice President – Business Development & Client Services within its US-based team. Harlow will be based in the firm’s Boston office, sharing business development responsibilities for the East Coast, and will report to Simon Padley, Senior Vice President.

ITRS has appointed Kirill Tatarinov to its Board of Directors as Chair, effective July 30, 2021. Tatarinov has worked in both executive and non-executive roles across a range of enterprise software companies, including BMC Software, Microsoft, and most recently Citrix Systems. He is the Executive Vice Chairman at Acronis, Chair at Spitch and a Board member at Logically.
