Michael Massimino has joined Kepler Cheuvreux as a high-touch trader, Global Trading reported. Based in New York, he will work on the KCx team to develop the firm’s execution strategy. Massimino has more than 20 years of industry experience and was most recently managing director of institutional equity trading at Imperial Capital. Prior to this, he was on the institutional sales and trading team at WJB Capital.
Hatem Mustapha has been promoted to Head of Global Markets Activities at Societe Generale, following the departure of Francisco Oliveira, who has decided to leave the Group to pursue other opportunities. Most recently, he served as Co-Head of Global Markets Activities and Head of Equities & Equity Derivatives. Since joining Societe Generale in 2000, he has held senior leadership roles in the Risk division and across Markets activities. Mustapha will remain a member of the Group Management Committee.
Megan Cruse, who spent nearly a decade at Citadel and who has been working with Clear Street since late 2025, has been promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer at Clear Street, which includes oversight of corporate development, strategy, facilities, communications and investor relations. In addition, according to a press release, Andy Volz, Clear Street’s Chief Commercial Officer, and John DiBacco, Global Head of Markets, have been promoted to Co-Presidents of the firm. DiBacco’s role as Co-President is in addition to his acting role as Global Head of Markets. As Co-President, Volz has expanded oversight of the Prime Brokerage and Active Trading businesses. Jon Daplyn, architect of Clear Street’s bespoke infrastructure and technology stack, is moving to the role of Chief Technology Officer.
Lazard Asset Management (LAM) has announced the appointment of two senior leaders as it advances its long-term growth strategy: Chris Bricker joins as Head of Corporate Development, and Theodore P. “TP” Enders joins as Head of Product. According to a press statement, Bricker joins from AllianceBernstein, where he spent more than three decades and most recently served as Head of Corporate Development and a member of the Operating Committee. Enders joins from Goldman Sachs, where he spent more than two decades as a Managing Director in Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Most recently Head of CIO Portfolio Strategy, he previously served as Global Head of Public Product Development, leading a global team.
Capitolis has appomted Ashwath Bhat as Chief Financial Officer, reporting to Gil Mandelzis, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Capitolis, Bhat succeeds Lindsey Baptiste Fiedler, who will remain with Capitolis in an advisory role to ensure a seamless transition. Bhat brings more than two decades of financial leadership experience across high-growth technology companies and global organizations, according to a press release. He most recently served as CFO at Fractal, an AI and analytics company. Prior to that, he spent more than a decade in senior finance leadership roles at Nielsen.
BMLL has appointed Brad Hunt as Chairman of the Board, according to a press statement. With a 30-year track record of developing and transforming financial data businesses Hunt most recently served as CEO of Rimes Technologies. Prior to this, he ran strategy and business development for Global Markets at Bank of New York Mellon, following senior strategic roles at IHS Markit and Goldman Sachs International in London. Hunt succeeds Lee Hodgkinson, who will remain on the board as an independent Non-Executive Director (NED). Hodgkinson, currently Group Chief Strategy Officer at Saudi Tadawul Group, previously served as CEO of Euronext London and Head of Markets and Global Sales, and CEO of global derivatives trading firm OSTC.
