ON THE MOVE: Gary Lin Moves to Blue Owl Capital; Kathryn Burke to Boston Partners

Kathryn Burke

Boston Partners Global Investors, a global investment firm specializing in value equity investing has hired Kathryn Burke as Head of Client Service. She joins the firm from Putnam Investments, where she was Director, Client Service for over 14 years. Prior to that Burke was with Fidelity Investments, where she held a role of Account Executive.

Gary Lin

Blue Owl Capital, a global alternative asset manager with more than $138 billion in assets under management, has hired Gary Lin as Managing Director, based in New York. He joins Blue Owl from The Blackstone Group, where he most recently served as Managing Director. Prior to that he worked for JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch.

Drawbridge has appointed Chris Aronis as its Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Aronis brings nearly two decades of fintech sales and marketing leadership experience to Drawbridge, including COO and General Manager roles spanning risk and compliance, trading and portfolio management, lending and data aggregation. He most recently served as CRO – Digital Banking for Bottomline Technologies in advance of the company’s sale to Thoma Bravo.

Nathan Wolaver

Alveo Technology, a data management provider, has appointed Nathan Wolaver as Chief Revenue Officer. Wolaver is an enterprising leader in financial technology with a strong record of ingenuity and results. He was previously Managing Director, Americas, responsible for operations, strategy, sales and profitability in the region.

Accelex, a SaaS platform specializing in alternative investment data acquisition, reporting and analytics, has appointed David Watts to its management team as Chief Commercial Officer. Watts comes to Accelex with a strong track record, having previously served as CRO and Global Head of Research at CreditSights. 

Eventus, a global provider of multi-asset class trade surveillance and market risk solutions, has appointed Jonathan Dixon as Director of Regulatory Affairs for EMEA. Dixon brings more than 18 years of experience in financial services firms and more than nine years of experience in trade surveillance to Eventus. Prior to joining the firm, Dixon served as Kraken’s Head of Trade Surveillance where he managed a surveillance team of 13, covering both the Crypto Spot platform and Futures FCA-regulated multilateral trading facility (MTF).
