ON THE MOVE: DTCC Hires Yonesy Núñez; Broadridge Promotes Mike Sleightholme

Yonesy Núñez 

Yonesy Núñez has joined Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) as Managing Director and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Yonesy will lead Information Security and Technology Risk Management as the firm advances its technological modernization efforts. Yonesy joins DTCC from Jack Henry & Associates where he served as CISO. Before that, he held positions in cyber and information security at Wells Fargo, Citi and Price Waterhouse Coopers.”

Mike Sleightholme

Broadridge Financial Solutions has appointed Mike Sleightholme as President of Broadridge International, based in London. Sleightholme first joined Broadridge in 2022 as President of its Asset Management Solutions business. In his new role, Sleightholme will leverage his extensive experience in securities services and financial technology, along with his history of delivering large scale business transformation and his client-centric approach, to continue scaling the Broadridge International business. Prior to joining Broadridge, Sleightholme spent five years at SS&C Technologies where he served as CEO and General Manager of its DST Systems business.

Eric Noll

FINRA’s Board of Governors has re-elected Eric Noll as Board Chair and re-appointed Deborah Bailey, Lisa Fairfax and Maureen Jensen to additional three-year terms as Public Governors, beginning at FINRA’s September 2023 annual meeting. Noll, a governor of FINRA since 2020, is Chief Executive Officer of Context Capital Partners. Bailey—former Managing Director at KPMG LLP—was first appointed in 2021, and Jensen—former Chair and CEO, Ontario Securities Commission—was first appointed in 2020. Fairfax—Presidential Professor and Co-Director of the Institute for Law and Economics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law—was first appointed in May 2023 to a partial term concluding at FINRA’s September 2023 annual meeting.

He brings almost 30 years’ experience working in the equities and electronic trading technology industry. He most recently has been focused on his advisory business, where he provided direction for organizational structure of Technology, Operations and Product Management for several large financial services firms. Prior to that, he was CIO at DASH where he managed ongoing initiatives to modernize infrastructure through implementing best practices for the Blaze Classic OMS environment, and ultimately through the acquisition of DASH by ION. 

Paul Hannaway has joined Wedbush Securities as Futures and Options Operations Specialist. He joins Wedbush from ADM Investor Services, where he served as  Operations Analyst – Option Expiration Specialist.

Rapyd, a global Fintech-as-a-Service provider, has appointed Dr. Shlomit Wagman, as its Global Chief Regulation and Compliance Officer. She is a former Director-General of the Israel Money Laundering and Terror Financing Prohibition Authority (IMPA), Head of the Israeli Delegation to the FATF, Chair of the FATF operational working group, and a Harvard-affiliated scholar.
