
Scott Rubner has joined Citadel Securities as Head of Equity and Equity Derivatives Strategy, according to his post on LinkedIn. Rubner joins from Goldman Sachs, where he served as managing director for global equity macro, emerging markets, equity derivatives and tactical flow of funds since 2022. He also served as a vice president at the firm from October 2015. He also worked at Merrill Lynch for over ten years.

Liquidnet has made a series of key hires to accelerate the growth of its Equities franchise in the Americas, according to a press release. They include Mark Turner as Co-Head of Equities Sales and Trading for the Americas, Hillary Budds as Head of US Crossing, and David Ramirez as a senior member of the High-Touch/Program Trading team. Turner, a 30-year industry veteran formerly with Instinet, will spearhead growth initiatives in high-touch and inter-regional trading. Budds brings deep expertise in block trading and venue strategy, having played a central role in growing BlockCross and later integrating it into Instinet. Ramirez, one of the top revenue generators on Instinet’s High Touch desk, rounds out the team with a track record of performance in both sales and trading.

Daniel Jesus Alonso will be joining Allfunds as its new Head of US, according to a press release. Effective July 9 and based in Miami, Alonso will report to Gianluca Renzini, Chief Commercial Officer. He joins Allfunds from Morgan Stanley Wealth Management where he played a pivotal role in the expansion of the international (US Offshore) business most recently serving as Head of International Wealth Management (IWM) Product Development.
Following the acquisition of AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) by BNP Paribas Cardif, Sandro Pierri, CEO of BNP Paribas AM, will also become CEO of AXA IM and Marco Morelli, previously Executive Chairman of AXA IM, will become Chairman of BNP Paribas AM and Chairman of AXA IM, the company said in a statement. They will report to Renaud Dumora, Deputy Chief Operating Officer of BNP Paribas, Head of Investment & Protection Services (IPS) and Chairman BNP Paribas Cardif.
