ON THE MOVE: Cboe Promotes Jill Griebenow; Erik Tumasz to Oaktree

Jill Griebenow

Cboe Global Markets has promoted Jill Griebenow to Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, replacing Brian Schell who will be departing the company to pursue a new professional opportunity. Griebenow will assume the new role beginning July 10, 2023, after working alongside Schell for the past 12 years. With more than 20 years of experience, Griebenow has served as Chief Accounting Officer since 2018, a role she will also continue to hold. Prior to that, Griebenow was Chief Financial Officer of Cboe’s European operations, charged with managing the company’s overseas financial arm, as well as overseeing the human resources and administrative functions in Europe.

Erik Tumasz

Erik Tumasz has joined Oaktree Capital Management as managing director and head of investment and trading technology, the Desk reported. Tumasz is well respected in buy-side circles for his work at former employer Wellington Management. He spent 17 years at the firm most recently as managing director for portfolio implementation and optimization technology, and prior to that as managing director and head of trading technology OMS platform. Prior to that he had built experience for several years at Charles River Development and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Andi Woolass

Andi Woolass has just joined Enfusion as the new Head of Partnerships and Alliances for EMEA. He has ver 19 years of client-facing experience in various roles as Consulting, Client Solutions, Business Analyst, Sales Support, Technology Implementation and Project Management in Investment Banking, Asset Management, Hedge Funds and Prime Brokerage. Woolass joins Enfusion from EZE, where he was the Head of Sales Engineering in EMEA. Prior to that, he was in senior roles, consulting at E&Y, JPMorgan prime brokerage, Citibank, and Linedata.

Oaktree Capital Management has announced that in the first quarter of 2024 it will elevate Robert O’Leary, Portfolio Manager for the Global Opportunities strategy, and Armen Panossian, Head of Performing Credit, to co-Chief Executive Officers. They will succeed Jay Wintrob, who will step down as Oaktree’s CEO at the same time. In addition, Todd Molz, Oaktree’s General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer, will be named Chief Operating Officer.

LME Clear has appointed David Warren as Chairman of the Board, effective July 20. He succeeds Marco Strimer, who will step down as Chairman having reached the end of his term. Warren has over 30 years’ experience in financial services and considerable expertise in global financial markets infrastructure and regulation, having served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Interim Chief Executive of the London Stock Exchange Group, as CFO and Senior Advisor at NASDAQ and as a Non-Executive Director of LCH Group Holdings. Strimer will stay on as a director until the end of the year to support Warren’s transition into the role.
