ON THE MOVE: BTIG Makes Senior Hires; Michael Burke to Easterly Asset Management


Jamarr Delauney

Christopher Heaney and Jamarr Delauney have joined BTIG as Managing Directors, and David Cantor has joined the firm as a Director. Prior to BTIG, Heaney was a Managing Director within Fixed Income at Keybanc Capital Markets. Delauney previously was a Managing Director within Loan and Structured Products Trading at Cross Point Capital. Cantor joins from Janney Montgomery Scott, where he served as Director of Fixed Income Capital Markets within Institutional Sales and Trading.

Michael Burke

Easterly Asset Management has hired Michael Burke as Vice President of Intermediary Relationships. Burke brings with him nearly 30 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining Easterly, he was Head of National Accounts for Ivy Investments. He held similar roles at both Pioneer Investment and Deutsche Asset Management.

Mike Trezza

Mike Trezza has joined CoinRoutes from Clear Street and will focus on sales and business development. Trezza has had a successful career selling algorithmic trading and smart routing strategies for equities for over 20 years at several firms including Knight Capital Group and JP Morgan Securities. He will now be selling this type of technology to crypto trading firms as well as doing consultative sales to traditional firms looking to add digital assets to their business.  

Plato Partnership has appointed Salvador Rodriguez, EMEA Head of Execution Services at Instinet Europe, as the Sell-Side Chair. Rodriguez has over 24 years of industry experience, including senior roles at Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, UBS and Citi prior to joining Instinet Europe in 2016. Rodriguez has been a member of the Plato Board since 2018 and he replaces Chris McConville, who previously held the role as the Sell-Side Chair.

NinjaTrader Group, a provider of software and brokerage services to active traders, has hired John O’Reilly as Chief Marketing Officer. O’Reilly will be responsible for leading NinjaTrader’s brand and customer acquisition initiatives. O’Reilly has over 20 years of B2C marketing experience, most recently serving as CMO of consumer-credit fintech platform OppFi. 

Aquanow, a crypto-native infrastructure and liquidity provider, has expanded its leadership team with seven new hires. The team includes Sebastien Davies, Principal, who comes from CIBC Capital Markets, where he held several key roles in institutional equities and derivatives sales; Brian Delaney, Principal,who joins from Citi where he most recently served as Vice President – Banking, Capital Markets, & Advisory; Michael Kwok, Head of Corporate Development, joining from 1832 Asset Management; Arthur Milner, Head of Product Management, joining from TMX Group;  Adrian Seto, Head of Trading, joining from CIBC Capital Markets; Mathew Szeto, Head of Institutional Sales, who most recently served as Head of Institutional Electronic Execution at Peel Hunt; and Anna Trinh, Chief Compliance Officer.
