Traders Tech: Broadridge Invests in LiquidX, Forms Partnership

Broadridge, which provides solutions for broker-dealers, intends to leverage LiquidXs access to capital markets and traders with its own network of corporate treasury and financial professionals.

Broadridge Financial Solutions has made an undisclosed investment in LiquidX, Inc., which provides an electronic exchange platform for global trade finance.

Broadridge, which provides investor communications and solutions for broker-dealers, banks, mutual funds and corporate issuers, intends to leverage LiquidXs access to capital markets and traders with its own network of corporate treasury and financial professionals.

Charlie Marchesani, president of Global Technology and Operations at Broadridge said of the investment, Our alliance with LiquidX is a strategic extension of our processing capabilities to a new emerging electronic asset class marketplace.

With this investment Broadridge will gain access to LiquidX’s trade finance exchange platform for nearly 2,000 corporations globally.

Broadridge operates in 14 countries worldwide and processes on average $5 trillion in equity and fixed income traders per day.
