TRADERS ON THE MOVE: Another Knight Trader Joins Janney

Mike Lloyd joined Janney Montgomery Scott’s equities group in New York as a sales trader. Previously, he was a trader at Knight Capital Group, where he spent seven years.

Mark Doolan joined Wells Fargo Advisors as a financial advisor in the brokerage’s Summit, NJ, office. Doolan was a longtime sales trader who started his career with Instinet in the 1980s. He was last with Fidelity Capital Markets.

Peter Conniff joined Scottrade as a registered rep in the retail broker’s downtown New York branch. Previously, Conniff spent 24 years as a sales trader at Merrill Lynch in New York and San Francisco.

Longtime sales trader Dave Morton joined New York Life as an insurance salesman in Waltham, Mass. Morton last worked at S.J. Levinson & Co. in Boston, and, before that, he traded Asian stocks at Cabrera Capital Markets. He is a past president of the Boston chapter of the Security Traders Association.

Kevin McPartland joined Greenwich Associates as a principal to lead a new market structure and technology advisory service. McPartland was previously at Blackrock, where he was a director in the electronic trading and market structure group. Before that, he was a principal at TABB Group, where he founded and led the firm’s fixed income research practice.
