Andy Peer joins Rosenblatt Securities as a director in sales and trading in New York. Peer, a 20-year veteran, spent 15 years at ITG. He was most recently at BTIG and Instinet. Peer will market Rosenblatt’s market structure research and other analytics to institutional clients at the agency broker. He reports to head of trading Mike Fredrickson and head of sales Joe Benanti.


Marcus Martin joins block trading house JonesTrading as a managing director and head of international and GEM-Ex Trading. Martin, a longtime market veteran, is charged with growing the firm’s block business in developed and emerging markets. Before, he was head of U.S. institutional execution and risk for pan-European global markets at UniCredit. He reports to chief executive Packy Jones.


J.J. Allingham joins Wells Fargo Securities as a director in New York. Allingham, a veteran of 18 years, will be selling electronic trading products to the buyside and sellside, as well as helping grow the firm’s alternative trading system, WELX. He was previously with Goldman Sachs, where he spent six years as an algo salesman to broker-dealers.


Julie Siskovic joins Rosenblatt Securities as vice president in derivatives sales and trading and will cover institutional accounts. Siskovic, a 20-year veteran with extensive experience in options, will look to expand the firm’s derivatives business. She was most recently at WJB Securities, where she spent four years. Siskovic reports to Gary Wishnow, a managing director in derivatives.


Rod Burns joins Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a director on the electronic trading sales team in San Francisco. With more than 10 years in the industry, Burns is responsible for electronic sales for the Western region and will help develop strategy with the office’s leadership team. He comes from Credit Suisse, where he served as director of the Advanced Execution Services team in the West. He also was U.S. head of electronic sales and account origination at Knight Capital Group. He reports to global head of program trading Jason Crosby and head of securities product sales Christopher Leupold, for product and sales, respectively.
