Traders On the Move

Mike Felix joins Lime Brokerage as director of marketing. Felix, a 20-year veteran, spent the last decade at Townsend Analytics in Chicago, where he oversaw global marketing for its RealTick product, an execution management system. Townsend is owned by Barclays Capital. Prior to that, he was co-founder of information services provider Hottrend. He reports to Mark Powers.

Sales trader Jim Lewis joins 20-year old investment bank and NYSE member firm Sunrise Securities as director of equity sales. The 13-year veteran comes from Murphy & Durieu. Prior, Lewis was at UBS spending the majority of his 10 years as a sales trader. He reports to Jeffrey Meyerson, managing director of institutional sales and trading.

Gerald Domanski joins SJ Levinson & Sons as a senior managing director and head of international sales and trading. He works in the firm’s office in Red Bank, N.J. Domanski, with more than 20 year experience, heads Levinson’s  international equity unit. Domanski was previously a managing director in international equities at BTIG for five years. Prior to BTIG, he was senior managing director at Schwab Capital Markets and head of international equities for two years. Domanski also spent 15 years at Speer, Leeds & Kellogg, where he was a special limited partner and head of international equities.

Mike McDougall joins Pacific Ridge Capital Partners as a senior trader, bringing 15 years of experience to the employee-owned investment adviser in Lake Oswego, Ore. McDougall, a former two-time president of the Security Traders Association of Portland, was previously head equity trader for the Benson Value Team at Wells Capital Management and had earlier been head trader at Benson Associates, which Well Capital acquired in 2003. He reports to Mark Cooper, firm president and senior portfolio manager.

Jay Skolnick joins Dawson James Securities as head of equity and institutional trading. Skolnick, a 28-year veteran who spent the majority of his career as a head trader, was most recently with Lighthouse Financial. Skolnick has worked as a sales trader for other firms such as Forge Financial Group, J.W. Charles Financial Services and at M.H. Meyerson & Co. Skolnick, a former president of the Security Traders Association of Florida, currently serves on the group’s board of directors. He reports to Albert Poliak, the Boca Raton, Fla.-based firm’s president and CEO.
