TECH TUESDAY: Eze Software Appoints Sinisgalli Chief Executive Officer

Financial technology company Eze Software has selected a new chief executive.

Effective May 1st, Pete Sinisgalli will succeed current chief executive Tom Gavin, according to a release from the company.

Sinisgalli is charged with continuing the companys global expansion into the hedge fund and asset manager space. The firm already has over 1,500 customers in 30 countries across North and South America, EMEA, and Asia Pacific.

Gavin, who had been with Eze for nearly 16 years, announced last year his plans to step down, citing personal reasons. He served as chief executive for nine years. Gavin will continue to play an active role with the company, serving on the board and acting as an ongoing strategic advisor to Eze Software Group.

I am extremely proud of what the team has accomplished over the years that I have been with the company, said Mr. Gavin. I am thrilled to know that I can transition the CEO role to someone with the talent and experience that Pete Sinisgalli brings to the table. In addition, Pete recognizes and embraces the long-standing cultural uniqueness of Eze Software Group and shares our belief in building a business focused on being a partner and not just a vendor.

Sinisgalli has extensive experience in leading both private and public technology companies and has a proven track record of successfully growing SaaS businesses. Most recently, he was president and CEO of Manhattan Associates from 2004 through 2012. During his tenure at Manhattan Associates, the company migrated its supply chain management solutions to a new technology platform. Prior to Manhattan Associates, he served as president and CEO at NewRoads, Inc., president and COO at CheckFree and CFO at Dun & Bradstreet Software. He has also served on the Board of Directors of Eze Software Group, Manhattan Associates, and Agilysys.
