StockViews Adds 98 Analysts, Announces Quarterly Hiring Process

Research drives the bus – and it looks like one firm will need at least two vehicles now for all of its staff.

Stockviews, the research firm that uses a crowdfunding approach to identifying top securities picks, has stretched that concept to how it hires new talent. As a result, the firm has brought on nearly 100 new seasoned staffers to join it ranks.

The StockViews crowdsourcing concept is designed to identify the top web-based talent. Based online, StockViews is creating a crowdsourced community of analysts and investors who have a proven ability to generate alpha on a consistent basis.

Of the 98 new researchers, 65 were given the title analyst, 19 senior analyst and 14 were named vice president – the firm’s highest current ranking. To receive the title of vice president, a member must have at least five current stock ratings, a track record of nine months or more and an outstanding performance level – ranking in the top 10 percent of his area of expertise.

The top-rated analyst currently on the platform is Sam Quirke, who has generated an average performance of nearly 15 percent across his seven stock picks over a period of 10 months.

The firm also announced that further hires and promotions are forthcoming and will happen on a quarterly basis, continuing in July, October and January 2015.
