On The Move: Portware Picks Global FX Team Leader

Former State Street and NBY Mellon veteran Chris Sorensen brings more than 15 years experience to his role as FX Product Manager.

Trade automation solutions provider Portware announced the appointment of Chris Sorensen as FX Product Manager. Sorensen mission is to drive Portwares growth in the FX space with a focus on execution and automation tools for tier one global asset management firms.

Sorensen will be based in the Boston office of FactSet, Portwares parent company, and will partner with both the existing Portware team and the buyside. Prior to joining Portware, Sorensen was the global head of strategic alliances and technical account management at FX Connect. Earlier in his career he held roles at State Street as vice president for client implementation and technical account management and at BNY Mellon as a fixed income trading systems analyst.
