Sure, they trade during the day, making (educated and researched) bets on stocks and options, but for one night earlier this month, Chicago traders gathered to gamble for a good cause. The Security Traders Association of Chicago drew its largest field of players from the local financial services field to raise an estimated $20,000 for the STAC Scholarship Fund.

The evenings power champ hails from Spot Trading, a local proprietary trading firm with a strong quantitative focus. (What algo was he using to win? Hmmmmm.)
