Saxo Bank Offers New Trading System That Links Desktops to Mobile Devices

Traders who execute orders on the go can now use a system specifically designed to link their desktops and mobile devices.

Saxo Bank, an online trading and investment specialist, now offers SaxoTraderGO, a new, multi-asset trading platform, available on desktop and mobile devices.

The platform was built from the ground up with focus on usability and performance and integrates seamlessly between desktop and mobile devices. The development of the platform comes amid trader demand as 20 per cent of the bank’s overall retail trading takes place through mobile devices, and this new platform allows ease of access to trading opportunities seamlessly as they switch between mobile and desktop environments.

SaxoTraderGO features point and click navigation and clear separation between pre-trading, trading and post-trading services. Performance has further been improved by employing advance network acceleration and usage of the latest technologies such as WebSockets.

The platform was launched to Saxo’s retail clients in Paris today with a rapid roll-out across all the markets in which Saxo operates.

SaxoTraderGO, which has been written entirely in HTML5, signals the trading industry’s move away from legacy proprietary systems of the past. By using HTML5, Saxo has enabled the system to be easily upgraded and adapted as well as given itself freedom by reducing reliance on third party plug-ins such as Flash or Silverlight.
