The three indexes are: the OTCQX Composite Index, OTCQX U.S. Index and the OTCQX International Index.
-OTCQX Composite Index is comprised of U.S. and international securities, including ADRs and ordinary shares, traded on OTCQX. The Index is designed as a benchmark for tracking the overall performance of the OTCQX marketplace.
-OTCQX U.S. Index tracks the performance of U.S. companies that have qualified to trade on OTCQX.
-OTCQX International Index is comprised of more than 200 international securities traded on OTCQX. This includes large-cap global companies such as Adidas AG, Heineken N.V. and Volkswagen AG as well as growing international companies such as Starpharma Holdings Ltd. that have high financial and disclosure standards. In all, more than 20 countries are represented in the OTCQX International Index.

The new OTCQX indexes, which are denominated in U.S. dollars and calculated on a total return and price return basis, are comprised of U.S. and international companies that have met the stringent requirements for trading on OTCQX, including high financial standards, current disclosure in English in the U.S., sponsorship by a professional third-party advisor and, for international companies, listing on a qualified foreign stock exchange.
“Investors interested in tracking the performance of established, global and growth companies traded our OTCQX marketplace now have a comprehensive solution with our OTCQX Composite, OTCQX U.S. and OTCQX International Indexes,” said Cromwell Coulson, president and CEO of OTC Markets Group. “These new indexes provide institutional asset managers the benchmarks they need to make informed decisions and highlight OTCQX companies as a more attractive asset class for a wider range of investors.”
The OTCQX Composite Index, OTCQX U.S. Index and OTCQX International Index are all market capitalized-weighted and have minimum liquidity screens to ensure tradability. Index data is priced in real-time and is available via major worldwide market data vendor networks and other print and electronic information media vendors.
Solactive AG serves as the calculation agent for the indexes and is responsible for compiling, calculating, maintaining and disseminating the values of the indexes on behalf of OTC Markets Group.
OTC Markets Group has sole discretion to add or delete securities from the Indexes.
