On The Move: Knas Joins Citadel, Mollica Joins Apex Clearing

New hires take place inside Citadel Securities and Apex Clearing.

Citadel Securities has hired Kraig Knas for the role of senior vice president of sales and relationship management. He will work in the firms Chicago office and focus on Commodities, currencies and fixed income. He will report to Angie DiCarlo in the firms Chicago office.

Before joining Citadel, Knas (pictured, right) served on the macro sales desk at Barclays and analyst, rates sales for RBC Global Banking & Markets. He is a graduate of Duke University and Universidad San Pablo in Madrid.

Meanwhile, Apex Clearing has named John Mollica to the role of Head of Institutional. He is tasked to expand further into Institutional Clearing and Prime Brokerage, according to a company representative.

Prior to joining Apex, Mollica served as managing director of ConvergEx and before that he served as vice president of trading at Pershing. Apex Clearing provides clearing services for brokers and also serves as a prime broker for hedge funds.
