BattleFin, Algorithmic Traders Association Partner to Incubate New Traders

ATA members can now join the BattleFin algo trading competition.

BattleFin Group, a network of emerging fund managers, and Algorithmic Traders Association (ATA), a coalition of algorithmic trading professionals, announced a partnership to open access to the BattleFin Incubator to ATA’s community.

The BattleFin Incubator invites ATA traders to join the algorithmic trading competition that BattleFin conducts more than one time each year.

ATA consists of 118,000 members focused on algorithmic trading strategies.

“We are looking to ATA and their Certification process as a way of identifying top trading talent. We will then invite the best traders and managers to be a part of our BattleFin Incubator platform giving the chance to obtain the capital, resources and the connections they need to be successful,” said Tim Harrington, co-founder of BattleFin.

“Having a partnership with BattleFin allows us to give our traders and managers a path to taking what they have learned in our programs into the real world. Going from concept to reality is a powerful partnership. Putting our graduates and members in a position to succeed is paramount,” said Doron Whitman, CEO of ATA. “We’re excited to share the ATA story at the BattleFin Discovery Day events as well.”

ATA members may apply on the www.battlefin.com/incubator site and attend the next BattleFin Discovery Day Event in New York City on October 1, 2015.
