Wells Fargo Securities announced Wednesday that it has hired two senior derivatives executives to build out the firm’s equity derivatives business and help lead its equity sales and trading groups.

Patrick Neal joined the firm as co-head of equity sales and Mike Riley has joined as co-head of equity trading. Neal will partner with Geoff Snyder, currently the firm’s head of equity cash sales, who was named the co-head of equity sales.

Riley will partner with Matt Brown, the firm’s head of equity cash and electronic trading since 2009. The two have been named co-heads of equity trading.
