(this article first appeared on Bloomberg)

Deutsche Bank AGs Jennifer Hadiaris left the firm to take a position in market structure analysis at Cowen Group Inc., according to two people familiar with the matter.

At Cowen, Hadiaris will assume a role similar to her job at the Frankfurt-based bank, according to one of the people, who asked not to be identified because the move is not yet public. In her position at Deutsche Bank, which she was the first to hold, Hadiaris analyzed structural changes in the U.S. equities market and the effects of regulation on the marketplace. She also advised the banks technology developers, interacted with clients and produced research reports. Earlier in her career, Hadiaris held a similar job in market structure analysis at RBC Capital Markets, a unit of Royal Bank of Canada.

Spokesmen for Deutsche Bank and Cowen declined to comment. Hadiaris did not respond to phone call and e-mail requests for comment.
