Bridgewater, NJ, January 22, 2024 – ISITC, a global industry trade group that is leading financial services operations into the future, announced Richard Robinson, Chief Strategist, Open Data and Standards, Bloomberg, as its 2024-25 Chair. He succeeds Kristin Hochstein, Global Head of Pricing and Reference Services, LSEG, who now serves as Immediate Past Chair on the ISITC board.

“It’s an honor to be elected as Chair of ISITC and serve in a leadership role for this dynamic and influential organization,” said Mr. Robinson, who has three decades of experience in the securities and fintech industries. “The work of ISITC, its leadership and member firms, is absolutely vital to our industry. I’m looking to continue the growth and success our previous leadership teams have set in motion for our association.”

ISITC members include asset servicers, broker dealers, asset managers and solution providers. The organization develops and promotes standards and best practices that increase operational efficiencies across the securities industry. It does this through the work of its member committees, forums, working groups and special task forces. ISITC also provides webinars and conferences throughout the year that provide education and guidance on crucial topics, and encourage knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities.

“Significant elements to ISITC’s success are the internal collaborations we foster and the relationships we’ve developed with various industry associations and regulators,” said Paul Fullam, Vice Chair of ISITC. “It is thanks to these efforts that we’re able to put into practice the recommendations and market practices we develop,” said Mr. Fullam, who has served in various leadership roles at ISITC and other industry trade organizations.

Key issues for the organization include the upcoming implementation of T+1 in the US and Canada in May, ISO 20022 conversion, climate change impacts and sustainability planning, AI impact, digital assets and blockchain applications and adoption. These will be addressed during ISITC’s 30th Annual Securities Operations Summit in Boston, March 24- 26.
