ON THE MOVE: Citadel Securities Hires Cory Stockmal; Dylan Tornay to Evercore

Cory Stockmal

Cory Stockmal has joined Citadel Securities as a high touch equities trader in New York, he shared on LinkedIn. He joins Citadel Securities after nearly seven years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he served as an Equity Trader and Managing Director from October 2019 to July 2026. Prior to that, he spent time at Maplelane Capital as a Global Trader, where he was responsible for trading all products across sectors, with a focus on equities and equity derivatives in the TMT, consumer and fintech sectors. He also served as joint manager of the firm’s Capital Markets business. Earlier in his career, he was an Equity Trader at Oz Management, focusing on fundamental and event-driven strategies.

Dylan Tornay

Dylan Tornay has joined Evercore as a senior managing director in its equity capital markets group, where he will focus on the industrials and infrastructure sectors. He will be based in New York, according to a press release. Tornay joins Evercore with nearly 30 years of equity capital markets experience from Citi, where he most recently served as a managing director and head of industrials, natural resources and power equity capital markets.

Paul Treacy has joined Peel Hunt as an equity sales trader as the UK investment bank seeks to expand its US operations, Global Trading reported. Based in New York, he is responsible for strengthening the firm’s trading franchise. Treacy has more than 40 years of industry experience and joins the firm from Numis Securities, where he was most recently head of US international sales trading. He has been part of the US sales trading team for more than 20 years.

Versana has announced that Paul Gallant has joined the company as its Chief Product Officer. According to a press release, Gallant brings 25 years of experience leading product strategy and transformation across traditional and alternative asset classes. Most recently, he served as Chief Product Officer at Hazeltree. Previously, he was a Managing Director at BlackRock, SS&C Technologies and J.P. Morgan, driving product innovation across global financial markets.

Franklin Templeton has appointed Elizabeth “Liz” Hogbin as Head of Global Product, effective September 30, 2026. According to a press release, in this newly consolidated role, she will focus on strengthening global product governance, simplifying the platform and introducing innovation earlier in the development process. Hogbin joins from T. Rowe Price, where she led the global product organization. She previously held investment and product management roles at Wellington Management and worked at Bain & Company and McKinsey & Company.
