TMX Group has announced on LinkedIn the appointment of Chuck Frederick to President, TMX Alpha US, effective immediately.
Alpha US is a US equity ATS offering broker-dealers a venue focused on execution performance, customization opportunities, and transparency in executing trading strategies.
Frederick reports to Luc Fortin, President & CEO, TMX Global Markets and Post Trade, TMX Group.
Frederick has been an integral architect of the AlphaX US launch since he joined in February 2024.
With his deep client relationships, market expertise, and proven leadership skills, he will drive the strategic direction of TMX’s U.S. trading initiatives.
Prior to TMX Group, Frederick spent over 25 years as a leader in the industry, most recently as Managing Director at TD Cowen within their ATM Development team.
His career includes senior algorithmic and e-trading roles at Deutsche Bank, Instinet, and Schwab Capital Markets, where he specialized in the architecture of global electronic trading platforms.
