ON THE MOVE: Brad Levy Leaves Symphony; Christophe Roupie to Marex

Brad Levy

Brad Levy has started a new position as CEO and Board Member at ThetaRay, according to his LinkedIn post. He was previously serving as CEO of Symphony, a communication and markets technology company. Prior to Symphony, Levy was a partner and executive at global analytics and information provider, IHS Markit, having also served as CEO of MarkitSERV and global head of its loan settlement and software services division. Earlier in his career, he spent 18 years at Goldman Sachs, culminating in his role as managing director and global head of GS’s Principal Strategic Investments Group. Levy will continue to advise the firm’s board of directors, according to Symphony’s press statement. Moving forward, Ben Chrnelich, until now co-CEO, will serve as Symphony’s chief executive officer and president.

Christophe Roupie has joined Marex as global head of electronic trading and platforms, he shared on LinkedIn. He joins from MarketAxess, where he served as head of EMEA and APAC, and chief executive for the UK. Prior to that he serves as global head of trading and securities financing at AXA Investment Managers for ten years.

The Securities and Exchange Commission has announced that Christina M. Thomas will rejoin the Division of Corporation Finance in February as deputy director and chief advisor on disclosure, policy, and rule making. According to a press release, Thomas returns to the SEC from private practice, where she represented public companies on capital markets transactions, SEC disclosure and compliance, and corporate governance matters. She previously served as counsel to SEC Commissioner Elad L. Roisman and was detailed to the Office of International Affairs and Office of the General Counsel at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The SEC has also announced that Keith E. Cassidy has been appointed Director of the Division of Examinations. Cassidy has served as Acting Director since May 2024 and previously was the division’s Deputy Director, Acting Co‑Director, and National Associate Director of the Technology Controls Program.

Steven Krichbaum

T. Rowe Price has announced a planned leadership transition within its T. Rowe Price Investment Management division (TRPIM), as Steph Jackson, who currently serves as head of TRPIM and is a member of the Management Committee, will be retiring at the end of 2026. According to a press statement, Steven Krichbaum will assume the role of associate head of TRPIM and will succeed Jackson as head of TRPIM on January 1, 2027. He will serve on the firm’s Management Committee and report to Eric Veiel, head of Global Investments and chief investment officer. Krichbaum, who joined T. Rowe Price in 2006, brings nearly two decades of investment, leadership, and commercial experience. His career includes roles as analyst, associate portfolio manager, and head of strategic initiatives, with significant contributions to TRPIM’s creation. Most recently, Krichbaum has served as TRPIM director of equity and fixed income research.

Cubist has named Rohan Chauhan as President, according to a press release. He previously served as Director of Strategy at Gemini and CEO of the company’s prediction markets platform, Gemini Titan. As Director of Strategy, he spearheaded the company’s IPO process and led high-value strategic partnerships, while as CEO of Gemini Titan, he helped secure a DCM license and launch the prediction markets business. He previously drove business development at Hudson River Trading, one of the world’s most sophisticated high frequency trading firms, and also held key roles at GIC.

ISITC, a global industry trade group, has announced Paul Fullam, Senior Business Consultant at FIS Global, as its 2026-27 Chair. According to a press statement, he succeeds Richard Robinson, Chief Strategist, Open Data and Standards at Bloomberg, who now serves as Immediate Past Chair of the ISITC board.
