
Paul Kilfoy has joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch as Director, Senior Sales Trader in Toronto, Canada, according to his post on LinkedIn. He joins from Stifel Financial Corporation where he served as Managing Director, Trading for over four years. Prior to this, he worked as a principal, sales trader at Eight Capital for over three years. He also held roles at Canaccord Genuity and UBS.
Mark Molloy has joined Morgan Stanley Investment Management as Macro Trader based in London. He wrote on LinkedIn that he’s leaving Nomura Asset Management after 7.5 “incredible years”, where he most recently served as senior trader. He brings experience from previous roles at Nomura Asset Management, MolloyFX and Goldman Sachs.
Robert D. Kendall has been named global head of William Blair’s investment management business, responsible for the strategic direction of the business including all portfolio management, client and operational activities, according to a press release. He succeeds Stephanie Braming, who announced her plans for retirement earlier this year. Braming will remain with the firm into the fourth quarter to enable a seamless transition. Kendall, a recognized industry leader with nearly three decades of asset management experience, most recently served as president of Raymond James Investment Management.

MEMX has appointed Ishaan Acharya as Chief Financial Officer. Acharya is based in New York and will be responsible for MEMX’s financial activities including accounting, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning, according to a press release. Prior to joining MEMX, Acharya spent seven years at Hudson River Trading LLC, most recently serving as Head of Financial Strategy where he built and led the firm’s financial strategy and global treasury function.
Rishi Sunak has rejoined Goldman Sachs as a Senior Advisor after 25 years. “25 years later, “I’m back – with the insight that comes from two decades in finance and politics but the same desire to make a difference I had all those years ago,” he shared on LinkedIn. Sunak served as Prime Minister of the UK between October 2022 and July 2024. Previously, he was Chancellor of the Exchequer from February 2020 to July 2022.
Liquidnet has named Michael Fidance as Head of CEEMEA Equity Markets, according to a press release. Based in London and reporting to James Whitehead, Head of Trade Coverage, EMEA, Fidance will be responsible for accelerating the firm’s growth across Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He brings over 25 years of experience in global equity and fixed income markets, with a strong focus on emerging market equities. He’s held senior roles at HSBC, State Street Global Markets, EBRD and Merrill Lynch.
