Listed Options Volume Near Unchanged at 353 Million Contracts in January

U.S listed options volume was flat in January after a solid uptick in December.

According to Tabb Group, U.S. listed options volume was off just slightly, 0.4%, in January coming in at 353 million shares versus 355 million shares in December. November listed options activity was 294.8 million.
However, year-over-year volume fell 9.4% compared to January 2014’s 389.8 million contracts.
