ON THE MOVE: Drawbridge Adds Scott DePetris; RJO Promotes Staniford to President

Drawbridge has named Scott DePetris as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) and appointed him to the Board of Directors. DePetris will drive Drawbridge’s global strategy and business operations to meet new client and market requirements and continue to scale the business through a period of hyper growth. DePetris is a recognized FinTech industry visionary with over 20 years of extensive leadership, go-to-market and operational expertise. He currently serves as Executive Advisor and member of the Board of Directors of Broadway Technology, board member at Salt Financial, and chairman of the Greenwich, CT chapter of the prestigious Young Presidents Organization.

R.J. O’Brien & Associates (RJO) has promoted Daniel Staniford to President, acting on behalf of RJO and all of its global affiliates and related entities, including JVMC Holdings Corp., its parent company. Staniford will also retain his role as RJO Chief Sales Officer, continuing to report to Gerald Corcoran, Chairman and CEO of RJO, acting on a group-wide basis. Staniford has nearly 25 years of experience in sales and management at some of the world’s leading banks and financial services institutions. He joined RJO in 2016 as Executive Director, in charge of the firm’s institutional business development in New York and London. He was promoted in May 2019 to the expanded role of Chief Sales Officer, overseeing global sales as well as RJO’s Marketing organization, charged with ensuring the external brand and presence is aligned with sales strategies.

Wall Street Rides FAR, the annual charity cycling and walking event benefitting the Autism Science Foundation (ASF), has appointed Marc Wyatt, Head of Global Trading at T. Rowe Price, and Jos Schmitt, President & CEO of the NEO Exchange, a Tier 1 Canadian stock exchange, to its Board of Directors. Wyatt leads trading desks across North America, Europe and Asia at T. Rowe Price. He also oversees a variety of internal groups, including those focused on portfolio modeling and market structure. Schmitt is Co-Founder, Director, President & CEO of the Canada-based NEO Group, which includes the NEO Exchange and NEO Connect, a multi-asset distribution platform.

Enfusion has named Peter Salvage as Managing Director, Global Channel & Alliance Partners and Labib Mahfouz as Executive Director, Americas, Channel & Alliance Partners. Salvage will be responsible for leading the effort to drive awareness, education, lead generation and revenue through Enfusion’s global partnership network; and Mahfouz will be responsible for deepening Enfusion’s relationships with existing partners and growing the partner network in the Americas. Salvage joins Enfusion from BNY Mellon where he most recently served as Managing Director of the Alternative Investment Services group and ran their Credit, Private Debt and Hedge Fund businesses. Mahfouz joins from Axonic Capital where he was a user of Enfusion’s cloud-native services.

GoldenSource has hired ex-ION director Xavier Gerardin as Global Head of its OnDemand solution, based in London. A 20-year veteran, with experience that includes managing over 100 financial software programmes, Gerardin will be tasked with bringing global clients new levels of efficiency to their data management lifecycle.

Sentieo has named Swati Tyagi as Vice President of Product. An innovative product management leader, she will guide the next iteration of Sentieo’s flagship platform and extend the capabilities of the company’s world-class development team. Prior to joining Sentieo, Tyagi led the product management team for the flagship product at Diligent Corporation, the world’s largest governance, risk and compliance SaaS vendor.

The Securities and Exchange Commission has appointed Gurbir S. Grewal as Director of the Division of Enforcement, effective July 26, 2021. Grewal currently serves as Attorney General for the State of New Jersey, a role he has held since January 2018, when he was confirmed by the New Jersey State Senate after being nominated by Governor Phil Murphy.

The Board of the International Capital Market Association (ICMA) has appointed Bryan Pascoe as CEO of the Association, succeeding Martin Scheck, who has been CEO since 2009. Pascoe will formally take up the role on September 6. Subsequently, during a transition period, Scheck will remain with ICMA in a non-executive capacity as President, reporting to the CEO. Pascoe has 28 years of international experience spanning investment and corporate banking in London, Hong Kong and Dubai. He was most recently Global Head of Client Coverage in HSBC’s Commercial Banking Division.
