He gets a thumbs up.

Larry Thompson, Vice Chairman at the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) proclaimed the world’s largest center clearinghouse approved Senate confirmation of the new U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Commissioner, Elad Roisman.

"DTCC welcomes the appointment of Elad Roisman as a Commissioner of the SEC,” Thompson said. “We look forward to working with Commissioner Roisman, as well as Chairman Clayton, Commissioners Stein, Jackson and Peirce and SEC staff to further increase transparency and reduce risk across the financial markets."

The SEC is now at full strength as Roisman becomes its fifth and final member.  Roisman, 37 years old,  onboards the regulator after working on the Senate Banking Committee, where he was the panel’s chief counsel. The Senate approved him in an 85 to 14.
